K+A developed final designs and specifications for two large soil nail walls on the north and south sides of the west entrance to an approximately 1-mile long 4-lane arterial roadway. Additional services provided were construction engineering, observation and materials testing for the wall construction.

The North Wall is approximately 638 feet long, the South Wall is approximately 392 feet long, and the walls range up to 20 feet in height. K+A also developed designs for ground anchors used to spot bolt several large rock blocks located adjacent to and above the completed walls, and for anchoring around a large pine tree located above the road.
