Kumar & Associates, Inc. (K+A) provided construction materials testing and observation for the new St. Anthony West Hospital, located on the Denver Federal Center Campus in Lakewood, Colorado. The project consisted of a 2 story, 86,000 square foot Orthopedics facility with emergency service and 48 beds as well as a central utility plant, a new 7 story 546,100 square foot, 222 bed hospital and a 464 car, 3 story parking structure. All structures are founded on a drilled pier foundation system.

Construction materials testing services K+A provided include observation and testing of the excavation and fill placement, drilled pier foundation system, reinforcing steel, structural concrete, structural masonry, fireproofing, site utilities, and asphalt paving.
