A field exploration program consisting of exploratory borings was conducted to obtain information on subsurface conditions. Samples of the soils and bedrock obtained during the field exploration were tested in the laboratory to determine their classification and general engineering properties. The results of the field exploration and laboratory testing were analyzed to develop recommendations for foundation types, depths and allowable pressures for the proposed water tank.
