Geotechnical Engineering
Geotechnical Engineering
Geotechnical engineering studies form the basis of type(s) of foundation needed to support loads of the building structure, slab on grade recommendations, bridges and retaining walls, dams and water retaining structures, highways and pavement design and soil and material related construction work. Engineering studies at K+A are performed by experienced registered professional engineers who have worked the majority, if not all their careers throughout the Front Range and follow local practices and procedures.

The geotechnical engineering report includes understanding of the project, drilling at the site and testing of the soil and bedrock samples in our certified laboratory. The results of drilling and laboratory testing are analyzed to provide recommendations for construction of the project. The reports are independently reviewed and sent to the client/owners.

K+A has performed thousands of geotechnical engineering services along the Front Range, throughout Colorado and in the neighboring states. We have hundreds of satisfied clients who repeatedly seek our services. The clients include individuals, developers, municipalities and government entities.
