A 245-foot wide diversion dam of the Colorado River for Shoshone Hydropower Plant, construction in 1907-1912, impacted by small whirlpool in reservoir pool:
Responsible for mitigating internal erosion using bedrock and alluvial grout curtains, a structural concrete cutoff wall into left abutment, and mass grouting using polyurethane grouts and cement-based grouts.
Performed geotechnical and geologic exploration.
Completed record drawings and final construction report.
Prepared emergency action plan and instrumentation plan per State Engineer requirements.
